These units have been used and abused world-wide. Many comp guys use these as they offer more than almost any other motor can. Many comp guys even run 24 volts through this nominal 12 volt motor and they really perform and last surprisingly well!
Motor comes with spacer, motor gasket and the long bolts to attach it to the winch housing.
These 6hp motors are a must have replacement for tired 2.1, 2.5 and 4.6hp high mount motors. They also fit low mount Warn winches and the X9 Superwinch.
These motors are longer than the 2.5 and 4.6HP versions - the 6HP is 200mm from the drum motor support mounting face to the end of the motor heatsink.
Note: for fitting to older model high mounts [M8274] you may need to change the pinion gear. Please contact us if you would like to know more.
